What is The Mind Body Reconnect
The illness states that MBR specializes in are IBS, ME/CFS, Fibromyalgia, Post Viral Fatigue Syndrome, Anxiety & Depression, chemical sensitivity and a lot of other related illnesses or symptoms. All stress related symptoms.
In MBR, we refer to these conditions as The Symptom State, which is created when the systems and circuits in the brain and body are not working together effectively.
Almost everyone is currently walking around completely disconnected from themselves. We sit behind our computer or phone all day long. We no longer listen to ourselves and often don't even take the time to eat in peace (with each other). We are busy trying to keep our heads above water and actually don't dare to go inside anymore, with all the consequences that entails. More and more people are walking around with unexplained chronic (pain) symptoms and are not heard in the regular health industry, but also in the alternative circuit, chronic conditions such as CFS and Fibromyalgia are not properly dealt with. Most of the time we are just told that we have to live with this. Fortunately, many of us are coming to see that our body has an enormous ability to heal itself if we do not get in the way and that all these symptoms are screams from our body to listen. With the MBR method you learn to reconnect with your authentic self. Put yourself in the here and now and start feeling what you need. We show you, among other things, that there are two different brains that have to work together to be in balance. During the coaching you will be given tools to take the right actions to create a life that serves you and in which you can flourish again. MBR is especially unique in the area of taking "the appropriate action" and emerged from years of practical experience/research by Clare Caldwell based on the teachings of Dr. Gabor Mate. In mine opinion, we all can use the MBR method in this phase of humanity. MBR is unique in the Netherlands! I'm the first practitioner who's using this method. And with MBR we are always under supervision en support so that our knowledge will keep expanding!
Knowing oneself comes from attending with compassionate curiosity to what is happening within. -Dr. Gabor Maté
Support after having your breast implants removed or tips if you are considering to do so
At the end of 2023 I made the choice to have my brest implants removed. I was very ill and didn't know what caused it anymore. I had had all kinds of vague symptoms for years. During all the years I had my implants, people had asked me if this could be caused by them. I always waved that away because I obviously didn't want to be faced with the choice of having them removed. I always had an excuse why it couldn't be caused by the implants. The biggest one was that I didn't have full silicone implants. I had the monobloc implants. When I had my first breast enlargement, I was persuaded to opt for silicone. I had these for two years but it didn't felt good. These were repeatedly reported negatively in the news at that time. I contacted a plastic surgeon, named Dr. Kappel. She was the only cosmetic surgeon who supported the whole silicone issue. She advised me to have them exchanged for monobloc implants. I've had these for around 17 years. Than I became very "sick" again and several people again brought up the implants. I couldn't stick my head in the sand anymore. I started calling Dr. Kappel again and I explained what was going on. She advised me to have them removed immediately and never have anything else implanted again! In the meantime, she no longer works with breast implants. She has seen too much misery around it. It was a nerve-wracking process for me, but I have not regretted it for a moment. From the first moment I was very happy that they were removed. I felt so much space on my chest again, no pressure anymore! The only thing that i find difficult is accepting my body. A body as it should actually be, but which I never wanted to accept.
-Are you dealing with this issue yourself and would you like to speak to someone who has already gone through the entire process?
-Would you like some advice about which surgeon is capable of doing this the right way?
(Certainly do not go to a standard clinic because most surgeons do not support the silicone story. For example, they do not know how important it is that as much of the capsule will be removed (only with silicone implants).)
-Have you had your implants removed and could you use some (emotional) support?
These were mine. They were blue when implanted.....
If your Ayahuasca ceremony didn't worked out the way you hoped for.
Ayahuasca, the very powerful plant medicine from "pacha mama". This medicine comes from the authentic shamans of South America. For many people this has been a gift on their development path of self-healing. But the fact that things can also go terribly wrong is not discussed and feels actually forbidden. Once you have completed the ceremony you often feel very euphoric at first. “Wow, I did this!” You quickly want to forget that you have sometimes spent hours and hours in the most anxious state of your life. Ayahuasca is currently being heavily promoted in the "self healers circle". But it is often not said that it is not suitable for everyone and can also be very dangerous if not properly guided. The screenings that should take place are also often forgotten or very superficial. It requires good preparation. When you come out and you notice, for example, the next day that you are not doing well, you often try to contact the person who was guiding this ceremony. Often the only thing they say is "yes, you have to work on yourself now" or "the things that are coming out now were already there." They often don't go any deeper. They "forget" to mention that you never know what kind of portals there have been opened during the ceremony and what kind of dark entities will enter. They always say that that's not possible because they secured the place where the ceremony is held. Most people also have traumas that have not been processed and they can suddenly come loose, causing your entire nervous system to run wild and suddenly you can no longer cope with anything. You have to deal with severe fears day and night because the protective mechanism that you had, probably built up as a child, has suddenly disappeared. Your brain does not understand this at all and therefore goes into complete overdrive. There are so many people who do not receive the right guidance after a ceremony, are not being heard and are sent from pillar to post because the so-called "shamans" here are actually not suitable at all to properly guide Ayahuasca ceremonies and are unable to provide proper aftercare. There are plenty of people who develop psychosis after a ceremony or worse, end their lives. Nothing is written about that. We only read positive experiences on the internet or hear from our environment. And YOU, you feel super guilty and ashamed because you made the choice to do a ceremony. You feel like your life is ruined because you can no longer function and your life has become hell because of all the "symptoms" you are now experiencing.
I went through this myself and thankfully I'm still here. If you would like to talk to me about this and see if I can do anything to help you, please feel free to do so. Keep faith. You're going to get through this!
